Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar (2012)
Tori is a blonde princess who is bored of living her royal life, and has dreams of becoming a popstar. Keira, on the other hand, is a brunette popstar who dreams of being a princess. When the two meet, they magically trade places, but after realising it is best to be themselves.

Even though that this movie may seem very childish and yea I get it it's Barbie but that dosen't mean you don't have to like it because you can still learn lessons from this book and the songs are pretty good. I am not a fan of barbie but some of the movies are pretty good!- dilniabout 8 yearsi love this movie

This was a BIG time disappointment, at least in my opinion. Before this movie, I had seen Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper was personally my FAVORITE Barbie movie of all time. Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper is based on the classic tale, but the movie adds in it's own twist. Barbie The Princess and the Popstar is like a big copy of Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. And the part that strikes me the hardest is the song in this movie, To Be A Princess/To Be A Popstar. This was literally the same thing as the song, To Be A Princess, from Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. Girls who change spots to have fun isn't the same as girls who have dreams to do what they want but remain loyal to their kingdom and parents. But a GOOD thing about this movie was part of the song To Be A Princess/To Be A Popstar. This new version was pretty good too though.
