Ferdinand

Ferdinand (2017)

Ferdinand, a little bull, prefers sitting quietly under a cork tree just smelling the flowers versus jumping around, snorting, and butting heads with other bulls. As Ferdinand grows big and strong, his temperament remains mellow, but one day five men come to choose the "biggest, fastest, roughest bull" for the bullfights in Madrid and Ferdinand is mistakenly chosen. Based on the classic 1936 children's book by Munro Leaf.

I fell completely in love with this movie the first time I saw it. I love everything about it from the characters to the musical score to the story to the feelings to the laughs to the amazing song in the end credits to the animation to all of it, this is a brilliant film on showing people that you really can be whoever and whatever you want no matter how the world works, including being a champion without fighting. Kate McKinnon was phenomenal with making another great mark in this wonderful film, but her role as one of the Ghostbusters in the new remake of the Ghostbusters film is still my favorite role in any film to see Kate in, she's just as incredible as John Cena and they both were terrific in this project. Ferdinand is definitely my favorite because he's played by John Cena who is another one of my top favorite actors of all time especially after his fantastic performance in the most recent Bumblebee movie which I still love a lot now, but another reason why Ferdinand is my favorite character is because he's just like me. I only fight when I feel I have to and if someone hits me first as my mom told me to do, never hit anyone unless they hit you first and I still live by that, but like Ferdinand I'm more of a person who's as sweet as sugar and always knows to keep violence to a minimum and I too never leave any one of my friends behind in any situation, plus I too love the smell of flowers especially my favorite type which are orchids. You have got to see this movie because I believe it's got something for everyone and there's nothing wrong with stopping the violence and taking the time to smell the flowers and enjoy life, and if you don't like to sniff flowers than that's cool too so you do your own thing. Watch Ferdinand and I garuntee you'll fall in love with him and his friends just like I did!!!!! A joy-filled film filled with heart and humor and an embrace for all that makes us different and all that makes us wonderful. The now-glossier cartoon succeeds in its very roundabout way of telling its tale. Ferdinand inspires young viewers to be comfortable in their own skin even amid societal expectations. This movie was one of the best ones I've ever watched. The message is properly delivered and is so touching. You don't have to fight or just be like others to achieve success, you can be yourself. It brought me to tears and I highly recommend it. You watch many movies, but there are some among them that you are impressed by and perhaps are worth watching again. Ferdinand was a movie of this type.

Ferdinand will make your heart ❤️ happy. He is a sweet sensitive bull a little girl has raised. She grow up with Ferdinand, but might have to get rid of him. Ferdinand accidentally causes disaster because a bee stung him. Nina is heartbroken as Ferdinand gets taken away. They say he's too much of a softy to fight. He proves them wrong. The story of a bull and a girl. Amazing movie. I recommend it to anyone

SPOILER ALERT- (FERDINAND)I love it its a really good and kind and thoughtfull movie considering I watch it in a Cimema in 2017! I love how Ferdinand (the bull) was really kind and the only bull that never wanted to fight anyone. It's sad that he Escaped and fell down a hill also it was sad when Valientae (The meanest bull) lost a horn because he forced Ferdinand to fight him. I liked the dance fight with the horses! It was Stallions Vs Bulls, It was funny at the same time! And finally I loved how Firdinand was huge and he persuaded the other bulls to escape with him, and that he was 'the flower bull' It was kinda sad/happy that at the end he sacrifice to go in a battle to save the others, the happy part was that he won and they all live on a farm now!😁😁😁-Lavenderlake16

Ferdinad is one of those movie that is a really good movie but it has a lot of sad parts and and if you are a animal lover like me then you will get that the movie is sad when his dad gets picked to be a bull fighter and he does not come back and then ferdinad gets taken away from his family and has to go back from were he was raised and he haded that place done.

I like this movie because there was lots of funny comedy and happiness between Flora and Ferdinand. Also, loved the dance battle between the bulls vs. the horses. One thing I did not like is at the end Ferdinand started to be aggressive.

I LOVED watching this with my family! I think it's great for ages 1 - 100 if had humor for everyone. Ferdinand is a bull who ran away from home when his father never returned from a bull right and ends up living with an amazing young girl with her father (AND FLOWERS) but as Ferdinand gets bigger he doesn't always look like the adorable, sweet, bull he is. And after a huge misunderstanding Ferdinand gets takin away and went back to the farm he lived at as a young bull. (And where all the other bulls he knew still live there) it was such a cute movie I really enjoyed it. Thanks for reading -Ajg15's Reviews
