Madagascar (2005)
Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends—Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo—have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape—with the help of some prodigious penguins—to explore the world.

The funniest character in the movie is Melvin because all the funniest scenes in the movie star him (ex: when Melvin puts a toilet mint on his tounge and tells his friends they are giving out free mints in the toilets). I think it was very clever of Marty to build a hangout where him and his friends can relax while looking at the stars, eating seaweed kebabs, and drinking coconut juice. I also think that the spy-like team of penguins were a good thing to add.
