but it is inspiring
It was sad but it was amazing. She lost her arm. GROSS AND SAD!! She could still surf. HAPPY AND AMAZING!! So it was happy, sad, amazing, and gross. But on the bright side ..... it was a good movie.

- oceanloverover 12 yearsWow! this movie is the best i have ever seen. I loved when the girl helped the little boy get over his fear and the other thai people's fears of the ocean, it was so touching. But I wish that last wave had counted for her surfing score.
One of the biggest suspense movies ever! And it being really makes it all the more scary and interesting! After watching this movie I refused to go into the sea for 1 month! Bethany Hamilton taught a really amazing lesson. I would give anything to be as brave and have as much hope as her! A very inspirational story
