I love this movie so much because I play the same sport and the same position. This movie is about a tall boy who was taken from his mother when he was really young. Now he lives with Leigh Anne Tuohy and her family, SJ her son and Collins her daughter and her husband, Sean.On his first day at a new high school a football coach, Burt said he can play offensive line and he wants to see what ¨Big Mike¨ can do and then after a bad start, Leigh Anne comes and gives Michael and the team a inspiring pep talk and Michael is improving in football and his grades in class are too. In Michael´s first game he was being bullied by a guy who played defense. So the first 4 plays the trash talker made the tackles. Then Michael then decides to run up his side and then he closed his eyes and thought about the pep talk she gave him and he blind sides the trash talker and he throws him on a bus and he has been famous since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH NO So much spoilers

The film flashes back. Michael has been in foster care with different families in Memphis, Tennessee due to his mother's drug addiction. Every time he is placed in a new home, he runs away. His friend's father, on whose couch Mike had been sleeping, asks Burt Cotton (Ray McKinnon), the coach of Wingate Christian School, to help enroll his son and Mike. Impressed by Mike's size and athleticism, Cotton gets him admitted despite a poor academic record. Later, Michael walks out of the school and is befriended by a boy named Sean Jr. (Jae Head). "SJ" suggests that Michael smile at the other kids, knowing that he was trying to be friendly with them. SJ's mother, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock), is a strong-minded interior designer and the wife of wealthy businessman Sean Tuohy (Tim McGraw). Leigh Anne notices Michael and ask SJ who is he is. SJ responds that he is "Big Mike".The school staff tell Michael that his father has died, leaving Michael homeless. Later, SJ, Leigh Anne, and Sean watch their daughter Collins (Lily Collins) playing volleyball. After the match, Sean notices Michael picking up some leftover food on the bleachers. Michael, having no money for food, lives by scrounging half-empty containers of snacks after school games. Sean buys him a meal.Oh no! Thats giving you some spoilers! Well thats for all.

The Blind Side is an amazing movie directed by John Lee Hancock, written by Michael Lewis!! Casting Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, Quinton Aaron, Jae Head, and Lilly Collins!!! This movie is based on a true story. This movie is about a normal family who takes in a African American boy named Michael Other. Let me tell you he is like no other. This is where our story begins. Michael is a 17 year old boy who grew up in a not so nice neighborhood. His mother was a druggy, and Michael ran away from home. Michael has been in and out of foster homes. Michael had no schooling, and then one day luckily got into a christen school. When walking home from school in a tee shirt in under freezing weather Sandra [ The Mom] points out that him and stops the car. She asks S.J. who he is and S.J says Big Mike [His nickname]. Mom tells him to get into the car and that is how it all starts!!! Big Mike spends the night at there house and a few nights after. Big Mike is struggling in school and only one teacher believes in him. She says underneath all that is a brain and a heart. Big Mikes gets a tutor and brings up his grades. One night the mom sees S.J and Big Mike are shooting around, Big Mike is making all the shoots and the mom watches and then decides she is going to make Big Mike try sports. Big Mike turns out to be a superstar at football. S.J is training Big Mike and working him every morning. Tryouts for the Football team are happening and Big Mike made it. His team wins a lot of games and Big Mike is amazing and making all of his blocks. His so good that he is getting scholarship calls from the collage teams!!! My favorite part of this story is at one of Big Mikes practices when the mom comes to to Mike and says ''You listen to me now this team is your family and you protect your family''.This is my all time favorite movie ever is really inspirational and uplifting!! I would recommend this movie to sports fans and anyone who loves heart felt movies!! Have an AWESOME time watching this movie!!!
