Determined to spend her Christmas not alone and sad after the death of her mother, Carly sets out to a small town to help a choir prepare for their Christmas Eve service. But while there, Carly never expected to fall in love with the charming town and its residents. Also, she begins to fall for Matthew, a gentle, retired soldier from the Army. As the holiday spirit gradually works on Carly's hurting heart, she begins to understand that family is whoever you make it to be. I loved this movie very, very much! A part of Hallmark's "Come Home for Christmas" series, this movie takes the viewer on a captivating journey of self-discovery and the power of family. This movie delivered on the holiday spirit and never failed to encourage its audience that family isn't only who you are related to but also the people you choose to be a part of you chosen family. I think everyone will walk away from this movie with a new sense of connection to family and the holidays. Happy watching!
