I love this book. A boy named hugo lives in a busy train station because his dad died there and his Uncle ran away and was never found again. Hugo discovers a robotic man in an attic in a busy train station where he lives by himself. One day when hugo is exploring the station he finds a store that sells wind-up toys. One day the owner of the shop caches Hugo stealing little metal springs to try to fix the robotic man. THe man punishes Hugo by making him clean the shop. Hugo only manages to sneak a couple of metal parts from the shop every day. Hugo steals the mans's notebook that has the drawings of the robotic man. The man gets angry when he finds out that Hugo stole his notebook. The man who owns the shop said to Hugo that he would burn the notebook to ashes once he found it. Hugo tries every-thing he can to find out why the toy shop owner is so strict. Read the book to find out more.

This is a picture plus written book which I love and it is a short read. It is also a great book if you are a person that loves thieves. Love it friends!
