National Geographic has been part of my life ever since I was 2. I truly wish for this book because these books have always fulfilled me with a wonder, as if I had just seen a mythical creature. I also want this book because once in my life, I had a dog save my mom. My mom was going out in my yard to take care of some business when she saw my dog fighting a snake. When my dog saw my mom, he instantly finished the snake off because he didn't want my mom to get hurt. The vet refused to come over. My gerbil died the day before my dog died. I was overwhelmed with grief and fury that they had both died in the same time period. I spent my time after that drawing and reading to calm myself down. But I realized that my pet had done something amazing with his life. I accepted it and since then had an interest of animals. Even if I don't win, the winners should enjoy their book. I hope so, because National Geographic is a classic to me.
