Hurricanes are very strong winds. They occur in tropical areas. They are similar storms to hurricanes like tornado. Hurricanes are very harmful for people and can kill people. As said hurricanes occur in tropical areas is because when the hot wind and cold wind gather up they make a hurricane. They height would be 10 km and wide will be 900 miles. Jamaica is a country where lots of hurricanes occur, i think people face to a big situation there. Tornadoes are similar to hurricanes and form in tropical areas. Tornadoes are more strong than a hurricane. A hurricane only can last of a minute or a hour but it does serious damage between these times. A hurricane can travel 60 km or more.
